Terms and Conditions
Today Plumbers

1. General
   These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Today Plumbers. By booking our services you agree to these terms.
   All work is subject to availability and acceptance.
2. Callout Fees and Labour Charges
   The following charges apply:
   Minimum callout charge: £100
   Standard labour rate: £75 per hour
   Minimum charge for pre booked work: £75
   Half day rate: £150
   Full day rate: £300
   The £100 callout fee covers attendance and initial assessment only. It does not include repair work, labour beyond the initial assessment, materials or parts unless agreed in writing.
   Labour is charged from arrival at the property.
   Time is charged in hourly increments unless a half day or full day rate has been agreed in advance.
   Where pre booked work is arranged without a diagnostic visit, a minimum labour charge of £75 applies.
3. Quotations and Estimates
   Where possible, an estimate will be provided before work begins.
   Estimates are not fixed quotations.
   Final costs may vary depending on additional labour, materials or unforeseen issues.
   Any significant variation will be discussed before continuing.
4. Discounts
   We offer a 20 percent labour discount to:
   OAP customers
   Blue Light personnel
   Valid identification may be required.
   Discounts apply to labour charges only. They do not apply to:
   Callout fees
   Materials
   Parts
   Only one discount may be applied per job.
5. Payments
   Payment is due immediately upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
   We reserve the right to request payment in advance for certain jobs or materials.
   Late payments may result in additional charges and recovery action.
6. Cancellations
   If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, the minimum callout charge may still apply.
   If an engineer attends and access is not provided, the full callout fee will be charged.
7. Access and Customer Responsibilities
   Customers must provide safe and clear access to the work area.
   We are not responsible for:
   Pre existing faults
   Hidden defects
   Damage caused by underlying issues not visible during inspection
8. Materials and Parts
   All parts and materials supplied remain our property until paid in full.
   Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant.
9. Liability
   All work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
   Our liability is limited to the value of the work undertaken.
   We are not liable for:
   Indirect or consequential losses
   Loss of earnings
   Damage arising from circumstances beyond our control
   Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
10. Complaints
    If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly so we can resolve the matter promptly.
